Department of Sanskrit

Department of Sanskrit started its journey in the year of 2006.This Department has shown its consistency in maintaining its academic excellence every year right from the beginning. This is possible because of  the dedication of the faculty members and sincerity of students. In the year 2007, the Honours course of Sanskrit Dept. was introduced with  25 seat capacity. Now the seat capasity of the Honours course has incerased up to 60.  Every year a large numbers of  students (Both Honours & General) come out of this college with remarkable result. The number is increasing day by day due to the increasing rage of Sanskrit. On an average the result of this department is best amongst the other departments of the College.

There are five faculty members in this department. The Department focuses to impart value education to the students and encourage them in all spheres enabling them to have a better future. The relationship between teachers and students in the Sanskrit department is quite close. As a result, students often seek guidance from teachers, not only in academic matters but also when they encounter personal or career-related problems. Teachers have been working tirelessly to provide academic and career advice to students.
